1. Data We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Project & task data: All projects, milestones, tasks, and activity records you create in the app are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or send this data to any external servers.
- App preferences: Settings such as theme choices, notification preferences, and reminder settings are stored locally on your device.
- Purchase information: When you buy Premium, the transaction is processed securely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We store a local setting on your device indicating your Premium status and whether it is a lifetime or subscription purchase. We never see or store your payment card details.
- Advertising data (free tier): If you use the free version of the app, Google AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers and interaction data to show you relevant ads. If you upgrade to Premium, ads are completely disabled, and no advertising data is collected.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your personal details (such as your name, email address, phone number, or location) or account credentials. The app does not require a user account, has no database servers of its own, and does not use any tracking or analytics tools. Your productivity data remains entirely on your device unless you choose to export it yourself using the Backup feature.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services inside ProPad:
- Google AdMob: Displays banner advertisements in the free tier. Google AdMob may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and how you interact with ads, subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
- Google Play Billing / Apple App Store Billing: Processes in-app purchases. Google or Apple handles your payment details directly under their terms, and we only receive confirmation of your purchase status.
4. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These reminders are processed entirely on your phone or tablet—no reminder content or notification data is sent to external servers.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Because all your data is stored locally, it is under your complete control. You can delete all app data at any time by going to Settings → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the app from your device will also delete all stored data permanently.
6. Children's Privacy
ProPad is not designed or intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or request personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are made means you agree to the updated policy.
